Is Sen. John Kerry the latest victim of the Shrum Curse? A New York Times profile of political consultant Bob Shrum's highlights his reputation as "a polarizing figure who dominates and divides a staff, a relentless player of inside politics who will sometimes steamroll colleagues to win an argument," and also someone who has never advised a "successful presidential campaign."
