How To Survive Impeachment

Merrick Alpert, a former aide to Oklahoma Gov. David Walters (D), has advice for how Connecticut Gov. John Rowland (R) can fight possible impeachment proceedings in the state legislature. Walters was the last governor in the United States to face impeachment.

However, Rowland's battle "may be far more difficult. The allegations are more serious and appear to involve a poisonous quid pro quo."
