In the latest Rasmussen Reports national survey, Howard Dean "continues to be his party's top choice for the Democratic Presidential nomination." Dean is in front with 24 percent, while 15 percent opt for Wesley Clark. Sen. Joe Lieberman is in a close third at 14 percent.
Beware of this huge, and important, caveat: "At this point in the process, national polls are not as significant as individual state polls. As a practical matter, it is likely that Dean will continue to lead among all Democrats at least until the Iowa caucuses on January 19. The results in Iowa are almost certain to shake up the national poll numbers and could also have a significant impact on polling for the New Hampshire Primary."
