Three Way Race For Second In New Hampshire

The ARG New Hampshire Tracking Poll shows Sen. John Kerry in the lead with 38 percent, with Wesley Clark (17 Percent), Howard Dean (16 percent), and Sen. John Edwards (15 percent) in a tight battle for second place.

A Boston Herald poll concurs noting Dean "seems to have stopped his campaign free fall but is now at risk of being caught by Edwards."

However, the Gallup, Zogby and Suffolk University polls have Dean in firmer hold of second place, with Clark and Edwards competing for third.

The AP has a good snapshot of each candidates' support. The New York Times notes "the focus on New Hampshire's independent voters has become sharper in the final days before the primary." And the Manchester Union Leader covers last night's Democratic party dinner in which Dean attacked Kerry's Senate votes on Iraq.

Update: The wild card on Tuesday will be the weather. It's supposed to be cold with snow falling.
