Edwards Leads Kerry In South Carolina

Sen. John Edwards leads Sen. John Kerry by 12 points in South Carolina, according to a new CBS News poll. "Edwards currently garners 30 percent of the vote to Kerry's 18 percent."

"The results of the CBS poll differ sharply from today's Reuters/MSNBC/Zogby tracking poll, which shows Edwards with a narrow one-point edge over Kerry in South Carolina." An American Research Group tracking poll has Edwards ahead by just four points.
