"Howard Dean's presidential campaign increasingly looks like it won't go on beyond Tuesday," the Boston Globe reports. The most striking evidence is that Dean's "calendar for next week is not booked beyond Wednesday, when he plans to return home to Burlington, Vt."
In addition, many Dean staffers "are already planning to leave his headquarters for good on Wednesday."
The New York Times notes that to travel with Dean last week in Wisconsin "is to live in a kind of alternative political reality where victories and losses, and even delegate counts, do not seem to matter."
