Kerry Maintains Leads For Super Tuesday

Sen. John Kerry is leading the other Democratic candidates in key Super Tuesday states on March 2. There are races that day in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont.

New polls from the American Research Group show Kerry with substantial leads in Georgia, New York, and Ohio. Results from Maryland will be out Thursday. The closest race is Georgia, where Kerry has an 8 percentage-point lead over Sen. John Edwards.

New polls from Survey USA has Kerry leading in California, Ohio, Georgia, and New York.

Finally, looking ahead to March 9, Survey USA also finds Kerry ahead in Florida as well.
