According to earlier polls in Georgia and Maryland, it appeared Sen. John Edwards was closing in on Sen. John Kerry and could pull off a couple of wins. However, two new polls suggest Kerry has little to worry about on Tuesday in those states.
In Georgia, the latest Zogby tracking poll shows Kerry leading Edwards 41% to 26%.
In Maryland, the latest Mason-Dixon poll shows Kerry ahead with a 3 to 1 margin, 62% to 20%.
Update: The American Research Group has similar results in their latest polls. "John Kerry has expanded his leads in Georgia and Maryland as movement to John Edwards has stalled."
