Kerry Leads Bush Nationally

The latest Los Angeles Times Poll of registered voters finds Sen. John Kerry leading President Bush 49% to 46%. In a three-man race, Kerry had 47%, Bush 44% and Ralph Nader 4%.

In addition, 52% of those surveyed said they agreed with Richard Clarke's charge that "President Bush failed to take the threat of terrorism seriously enough" before 9/11.
