Alaska Senate Race Tightens

A new poll shows former Gov. Tony Knowles (D) still leads the U.S. Senate race in Alaska with 47.6 percent of the vote, but Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R) is now just three points behind at 44.7 percent, KTUU-TV reports.

"This month's results seem to show that Lisa Murkowski's in better shape, getting stronger, positive up 10 points, negative rating heading down, expanding her base, and she is slowly inching her way back into the race."
