Kerry Leads In Wisconsin

Sen. John Kerry "has a slight lead" over President Bush among Wisconsin voters, according to a Wisconsin Public Radio poll. Kerry had 49%, Bush 42% and Ralph Nader 7%.

"Wisconsin has been tabbed a battleground state for the presidential race since 2000, when Bush lost the state to Democrat Al Gore by less than 6,000 voters. Bush and Kerry, along with independent groups, have been running a number of TV ads in Wisconsin, and Vice President Dick Cheney is scheduled to campaign in Milwaukee and Wrightstown on Friday."

Update: A Rasmussen Reports Poll shows Kerry leading Bush 50% to 42%. With Nader as an alternative, Kerry's lead "is cut in half -- 45% to 41% -- with Nader taking 8% of the vote."
