Bush Leads In Arizona

President Bush's approval rating "in Arizona has sunk to its lowest level since before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks," the Arizona Star reports.

In the presidential race, however, Bush leads Sen. John Kerry 46% to 42%.

"Bush carried Arizona in 2000 and is counting on winning the state -- and its 10 electoral votes -- this year in the race against Kerry. Both candidates are advertising heavily here."
