Daschle Leads In South Dakota

In South Dakota, an internal poll from Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research (D) shows Sen. Tom Daschle (D-SD) leading John Thune (R) 55% to 42%.

"Daschle commands the bipartisan support needed to win in this Republican-leaning state. Daschle attracts 29 percent of Republican voters, while Thune holds just 68 percent of his Republican base. Daschle leads Thune 54-43 percent among Independent voters. And Daschle’s Democratic base is solidified, as he leads 91-7 percent among Democratic voters."
