Another Poll Shows Low Bush Approval Rate

President Bush gets a negative 45% to 50% approval rating from American voters –- "his lowest score ever" -– and Sen. John Kerry "is now one point behind the Republican incumbent," 43% to 42%, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll. Ralph Nader gets 6%.

More interesting findings:

  • By a 50% to 39% margin, "voters would rather have a backyard barbecue with Bush"
  • Voters say 46% to 41% "they would rather have Bush run their business"
