A Political Wire reader notes that Meetups for Sen. John Kerry and his Democratic allies "are decisively more popular than their Republican counterparts." So far this year, over 116,000 people have registered online for Kerry compared to 4,600 for President Bush.
Much has been made of the Bush campaign's efforts to enlist a grassroots army through voter registration drives
and radio promos, "but wherever Bush supporters may be, it doesn't look like they are meeting online."
