Kerry Cancels Speech to Mayors

Sen. John Kerry "canceled a planned speech today to the U.S. Conference of Mayors, saying he would not cross picket lines erected by city workers," the Boston Globe reports. Boston Mayor Thomas Menino "expressed disappointment, saying the speech was an important opportunity for Kerry to connect with mayors from across the country."
