Sen. John Kerry, Sen. John Edwards and their families campaigned in New York yesterday and a Political Wire reader involved in the events writes in with the following somewhat trivial, but nonetheless interesting, observations:

• It's known that Kerry loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but yesterday he opted for a large order of Japanese food from Nobu.
• It was decided that Kerry's daughters were to appear on both Good Morning America and the Today Show in order to mend some dispute between NBC and ABC.

Top three things said by Kerry's daughter, Alex, and overheard by our correspondent:

1. "I’ll need to become addicted to some drug... if I want to survive this campaign."
2. "I’ll kill dad if he doesn’t win this election."
3. "I have the biggest crush on John Edwards."
