Convention Buzz

A roundup of interesting things heard in Boston:

The AP quotes Alexandra Kerry: "Because of the dark world of the Internet, I'm told there are now entire Web pages dedicated to my breasts. You gotta love the Internet."

The Washington Post notes that union leader Andy Stern "said Monday that both organized labor and the Democratic Party might be better off in the long run" if Kerry loses the November election.

The Boston Herald stays on message with a second attempt at trying to embarrass the wife of a politician. This time it's Theresa Heinz Kerry. Yesterday, it was the wife of Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack.

"The 35 credentialed bloggers here may be getting all the media attention, but they're greatly outnumbered by talkers," Jason Zengerle notes. "There are more than 130 talk radio shows broadcasting from the convention this week--quadruple the number that showed up at the Democratic convention in Los Angeles four years ago."
