GOP Has Weak Support From Minority Voters

The latest National Annenberg Election Survey shows that Republicans "have failed to make the significant gains they hoped for among minority voters in the last four years, but their core support among evangelical and born-again white Protestants is stronger."

A BET/CBS News poll also shows that the president has weak support among African-American voters. Seventy-nine percent of those who responded said they planned to vote for Kerry, while only 10% said they supported Bush.
