Q. Do you really think George Bush would scare New Yorkers about a potential terrorist attack if it was only based on four year old information?

A. They invaded a country based on 12 year old information.

On a related note, the Kansas City Star notes that Vice President Dick Cheney blasted Howard Dean "who questioned the timing of the most recent elevation in terror levels in some cities."

Taegan D. Goddard is the founder of Political Wire, one of the earliest and most influential political web sites.
