Season for Political Books Nears End

"The publishing industry is in high gear this election season, with piles of political books for sale." NPR reports "there's big money to be made in the run-up to the November election, but timing is key. A lot of those new glossy covers will be on the clearance table on Nov. 3."

Taegan D. Goddard is the creator of Political Wire, a political column updated around the clock with the most interesting news, buzz and commentary.

Goddard is also co-author of You Won - Now What? (Scribner, 1998), a political management book hailed by prominent journalists and politicians from both parties.
