Crawford: Kerry Will Win

Though he notes "the final phase of this campaign is like projecting the path of a hurricane," Craig Crawford says John Kerry will win the election.

"For all of President Bush’s valiant efforts to make this campaign a referendum on his challenger’s character, it is turning into what the nature of politics demands: a referendum on the incumbent’s performance."

Taegan D. Goddard is the founder of Political Wire, one of the earliest and most influential political web sites.
