In New Jersey, Corzine to Announce Next Week

Sen. Jon Corzine (D-NJ) "is expected to announce a gubernatorial bid shortly after Thanksgiving, setting off a scramble among ambitious Garden State Democrats angling for his seat," Roll Call reports.

Meanwhile, the AP says Douglas Forrester (R) "was expected to officially announce his candidacy for governor" today "just days after the federal prosecutor who was considered a leading GOP contender said he wouldn't run."
