Williams Loses Column

Following revelations that he took money from the Bush administration to promote its education policies, Armstrong Williams's newspaper syndicate yesterday "canceled his column. And one television network dropped his program pending an investigation," the Washington Post reports.

Williams acknowledged his "bad judgment." The Bush administration defended the contract as "advertising."
