Tennessee state Sen. John Ford (D) testified in court that "he keeps two homes and two families, alternating between two women whose children he fathered," the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Ford's families "stay in houses he owns and where he also lives, though neither home is in his South Memphis Senate district." 'He pays all of the bills for each home, though he cites a law he wrote should enable him to pay less child support.
When a judge noted his lifestyle was unusual in that he keeps two homes, Ford shot back: "Not necessarily. I know people who got five."
