Bonilla Preps Senate Bid

Rep. Henry Bonilla (R-TX) announced "that he is laying the groundwork for a Senate run, increasing speculation that" Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) will challenge Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) in a gubernatorial primary next year, the Houston Chronicle reports.

"Bonilla said he would not challenge Hutchison, but he is ready to run if she steps aside."
