Independent Gubernatorial Bid Contemplated

In Virginia, state Sen. Russell Potts (R) is considering an independent run for governor and has hired Tom D'Amore, the architect of Lowell Weicker's successful independent bid for governor in Connecticut, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.
