DeLay Questions Grow

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) "has dismissed questions about his ethics as partisan attacks, but revelations last week about his overseas travel and ties to lobbyists under investigation have emboldened Democrats and provoked worry among Republicans," the Washington Post reports.

Meanwhile, Roll Call notes that DeLay's network of political operatives -- "informally known as 'DeLay Inc.' -- has been transformed from a behind-the-scenes asset to a public liability."
