Matalin to Launch Book Imprint

Simon and Schuster "has struck a deal with political commentator Mary Matalin to launch a new imprint whose books will have a strong conservative appeal," the Wall Street Journal reports.

In addition to competing with Regnery Publishing... "that has produced a long string of hit books with conservative themes," the new imprint will also compete with Crown Forum imprint and Sentinel.

Taegan D. Goddard is the creator of Political Wire, a political column updated around the clock with the most interesting news, buzz and commentary.
