Ranking the Governors

North Dakota Governor John Hoeven (R) has the highest approval rating of any Governor in the United States and Ohio Governor Bob Taft (R) has the lowest, according to 50 separate but concurrent SurveyUSA polls.

One interesting finding: There's little difference in approval rating by political party. The average approval of Republicans is 48.6%; for Democrats it's 48.1%.
