Lott's Book May Be Killed

An informed Political Wire reader tells us that Sen. Trent Lott's (R-MS) book, Master of the Game -- already delayed once -- may never be published. The book was supposed to be an insider, tell all that probably no longer makes sense if Lott wants the support of his fellow Republicans for a new leadership bid.

Update: The Washingtonian says the new official publication date is "November 2006 or later" although "one New York industry source already calls it -- unofficially -- 'DOA.'"
