First 2008 Ads Start in Iowa

"Jockeying for the 2008 Iowa Caucauses has started as political advertisements hit the airwaves," KETV-7 reports. One TV commercial says that New York Gov. George Pataki (R) is "thinking about running for president, and the ad is running this week in central Iowa."

The advertisements comes as several potential candidates, including Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN), Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR) and Pataki, make trips to the state.
