Republican PACS Show 2008 Interest in Allen

Many top Republican office-holders have been showing their support for Sen. George Allen (R-VA), a potential presidential candidate, by writing checks for his 2006 re-election campaign, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports. "The Virginia Republican's campaign received $103,500 from political action committees of 17 current and former Republican senators in the first six months of the year."
