Black Republicans Launch Organization

Black Republicans "are forming a national organization to recruit and register black voters that will be in step with the strategy of" RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman, the Washington Times reports. The National Black Republican Association will announce its formation today, "as well as the creation of its fundraising arm and the opening of its national headquarters" in Washington, D.C.
