Edgar Sounds Like He's Running

ìSounding more and more like a candidate for office,î former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar (R) said that a decision about his potential candidacy will come very soon, perhaps even ìwithin the next few days,î reports the Joliet Herald News. However, during a speech given on Monday, ìit would have been easy to mistake the former Republican governor for someone already in the midst of a heated campaign.î

Taegan D. Goddard is the founder of Political Wire, one of the earliest and most influential political web sites.
