Clinton Stumps for Corzine

Bill Clinton has been ìcalled in to help rescue the slumping New Jersey gubernatorial campaign of Jon Corzine,î according to the New York Daily News. With a new Quinnipiac poll giving Corzine only a 4 point lead over Republican Doug Forrester, Clinton will campaign for Corzine today, ìhoping to turn around Corzine's stalled run for the New Jersey statehouse.î

Said one Democratic strategist: ìIt's 911 time in the Corzine campaign. Obviously, he's in trouble.î
