Taft's Popularity Hits Mathematical Lows

A new Columbus Dispatch poll finds Ohio Gov. Bob Taft's (R) approval rating at 15% with 85% disapproving.

Said Gallup poll director Frank Newport: "Almost any figure whoís elected in a partisan election usually has at least some support from his party. Usually thereís a party base. Itís hard mathematically to get that low."
