Jeb Bush to Star at GOP Fundraiser

Billionaire Wayne Huizenga's waterfront estate "is the luxurious perch" where Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) "and a couple hundred of Florida's richest Republicans will gather next Thursday,î the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. The occasion provides Bush, ìwho is seen by many Republicans as a future presidential candidate,î the opportunity to ìflex political muscle and crush any perception of him as a lame-duck governor entering the final stage of his second term.î

Meanwhile, the Austin American-Statesman notes Bush's son pleaded no contest to his public intoxication charge.
