We've waited weeks for an explanation and now New York Times reporter Judy Miller finally gives her account of her role in the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame. The New York Times also gives its long-awaited report on the matter.
The problem is we still don't know much more than we did yesterday. The
bottom line: Miller can't recall who gave her the name of Ms. Plame.
Meanwhile, the Washington Post reports Karl Rove's defense team asserts that he "has not committed a crime but nevertheless anticipates that special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald could find a way to bring charges in the next two weeks."
Update: Arriana Huffington agrees with our conclusion after digesting the articles, saying "I can safely say that not since Geraldo cracked open Al Caponeís vault has there been a bigger anticlimax or a bigger sham."
