Despite Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) recent entry into the the Ohio Senate race, Paul Hackett, "who stunned the political world with his near-miss in the 2nd Congressional District race this summer, said Friday he is in the U.S. Senate race to stay, even if it means a tough Democratic primary battle next spring," the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Said Hackett: "It's going to be a long, hard fight, but I am in it for good.''
Meanwhile, knowing the blogosphere has many Hackett supporters, Brown is working to win their support.
