Corzine Up By Nine Points

With less than three weeks left in the New Jersey gubernatorial race, Sen. Jon Corzine (D-NJ) leads Doug Forrester (R), 46% to 37% among likely voters in a new New York Times poll. Among all registered voters, Corzine is ahead, 48% to 33%.

However, "in a state where voters traditionally decide which lever to pull in the final days of a campaign, 14 percent of likely voters were undecided, and one-third of those who signaled support for a candidate said they may still change their mind."

Meanwhile, a new Monmouth University/Gannett poll has Corzine leading by 7 points, 45% to 38%.
