Siegelman Indicted

Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman (D) was indicted along with two other members of his administration ìin a case involving federal charges of bribery, extortion and racketeering,î according to the Huntsville Times. Siegelman, who is running for governor in 2006, said the charges were an attempt to influence the race.
