Virginia Race Has 2008 Fallout

Supporters of Sen. Hillary Clintonís (D-NY) potential presidential bid will be closely watching the outcome of tomorrowís Virginia gubernatorial race, the New York Daily News reports. A win for Lt. Gov. Tim Kaine (D) could boost the ìfortunes of a potential opponent in the 2008 Democratic presidential primaries, outgoing Virginia Gov. Mark Warner.î

While ìClinton's camp has made it clear they are rooting for Kaine, his win will launch term-limited Warner onto the national political stage to join other Democrats vying for the ëanti-Hillaryí mantle in 2008.î
