Cunningham to Plead Guilty

Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham (R-CA) will plead guilty to tax violations, Political Wire has learned.

Update: The AP confirms the story. "Cunningham has been under investigation since his sale of his home to a defense contractor at an apparently inflated price in 2003 attracted the attention of federal investigators."

Update II: The San Diego Union Tribune says Cunningham pleaded guilty "to conspiring to take bribes in exchange for using his influence to help a defense contractor get business."
