Kos notes that Ned Lamont (D), who indicated he may launch a primary campaign against Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT), registered the domain name nedlamont.com with the help of internet campaign guru Zack Exley. "Lamont's operation won't be amateur or shoestring, Kos concludes."
It also indicates that Lamont will seek a national fundraising base among anti-war Democrats and those otherwise irritated by the right-leaning Lieberman. Without the Internet, Lamont wouldn't have a chance in a machine state like Connecticut. Now, this could be one of the more interesting races.
Kevin Rennie (R), a former Connecticut state senator, has a good article on Lamont's motivation to run and his prospects for winning.
Update: A Political Wire reader notes Exley also owns the domain name nomoJoe.com. Also, the contact information for nedlamont.com has now changed.
