In Tennessee, Ford Losing Ground

In the Tennessee U.S. Senate race, Rep. Harold Ford (D-TN) now trails all three of his potential Republican rivals, a new Rasmussen Reports poll finds.
  • Rep. Ed Bryant (R-TN) fares best against Ford, leading 45% to 36%.
  • Rep. Van Hilleary (R-TN) leads Ford, 43% to 35%.
  • Bob Corker (R) leads Ford, 39% to 35%.
Key finding: "Respondents unaffiliated with either major party favor the Republican candidates by roughly two-to-one margins."
