Harkin Backs Feingold's Censure Effort

Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) "has become the first co-sponsor to Sen. Russ Feingoldís (D-WI) controversial resolution to censure President Bush for authorizing an allegedly illegal domestic surveillance program," Roll Call reports.

Said Harkin: "I think it makes sense. ... Quite frankly, I think we ought to have a full-fledged debate on this."

Meanwhile, Hotline On Call has great quotes from Democrats trying to avoid comment on the measure.
