-- Sen. George Allen (R-VA), quoted by the Washington Post, referring to a 20 year-old volunteer for his Senate opponent, Jim Webb (D). Macaca "could mean either a monkey" or "a racial slur against African immigrants." The volunteer, of Indian descent, was born and raised in America.
