Lieberman Down, Santorum Up

Sen. Joe Liebermanís (D-CT) job approval rating has fallen to its lowest level in 15 months, and Sen. Rick Santorumís (R-PA) rating has risen to its highest level in 15 months, according to 50 separate but concurrent SurveyUSA polls.

Lieberman, in the last year:
  • Net job approval declined 34 points.
  • Among Democrats, net job approval declined 55 points.
  • Among independents, net job approval declined 38 points.
Santorum, in the last three months:
  • Net job approval increased 24 points.
  • Among conservatives, net job approval increased 39 points.
  • Among independents, net job approval increased 32 points.
  • In the past 10 months, he had been ranked 100th (worst) four times; had been tied for worst once, and had been ranked 99th (second worst) twice. Today, he jumps to 88th place.
