Like their bosses, the salaries of congressional aides are public. When I worked in the U.S. Senate, staffers made regular trips to the library to page through large volumes of public records to see what their colleagues were paid.
Now, this information is available to everyone -- sorted by member and committee -- from LegiStorm.
Update: Apparently there are a lot of snoops out there. Traffic from Political Wire and other sources have at least temporarily brought the site down.
